Happy embryos

Happily, Joey and I just got home from her 5 day embryo transfer. The IVF lab called Friday with a nondescript message saying that we should come in today and did not leave any real information. We were a bit deflated but still optimistic. Today we went to the RE’s office and found out that ALL 5 EMBRYOS were still thriving. I literally teared up as we have never had any embryos left over (in all 4 previous cycles). As it turns out, they transferred 2 grade A embryos into Joey and we have 3 other frozen embryos in the cooler (2B and 1A quality). Yippee. Now Joey is happily lounging in bed watching those awful medical investigation shows she loves so much. We are both feeling super content that at least one of our strong and healthy embryos will be attaching itself this week.

Namaste, indeed.

Awesome times infinity!!!!! Of course nosy me wants to know all the numbers too – like E2, lining etc.
It seems like things are lining upbeautifully and those embies sound stellar quality! I think you should be very confident that you’re going to have at least one baby a growin in there soon!
I am seriously stoked for you both!!!! I have to say, I am a real donor egg convert. I might start preaching in a minute. Can I have an amen? Can I have an hallelujah?!!!
Make sure Joey stays on that couch for a good long time and tell her to seriously chill!!!
