Happily, Joey and I just got home from her 5 day embryo transfer. The IVF lab called Friday with a nondescript message saying that we should come in today and did not leave any real information. We were a bit deflated but still optimistic. Today we went to the RE’s office and found out that ALL 5 EMBRYOS were still thriving. I literally teared up as we have never had any embryos left over (in all 4 previous cycles). As it turns out, they transferred 2 grade A embryos into Joey and we have 3 other frozen embryos in the cooler (2B and 1A quality). Yippee. Now Joey is happily lounging in bed watching those awful medical investigation shows she loves so much. We are both feeling super content that at least one of our strong and healthy embryos will be attaching itself this week.

Congratulations! I know you were hoping for a 5-day transfer, and it seems the news couldn’t be better. All five thrived! I am so happy for you both and am sending all my positive thoughts and prayers that one (mmm, maybe 2?) implant. Good luck and I can hardly wait for the beta!!!
